01About these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of lucidframe.cc, app.lucidframe.cc and the LucidFrame image editor, including accounts, saved projects and paid AI features (the “Service”). In these terms, “LucidFrame”, “we” and “us” refer to FOP Yaremko Volodymyr Mykhailovich, an individual entrepreneur based in Ukraine who operates the Service.
By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you use it for an organisation, you confirm that you can accept them on that organisation’s behalf. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is processed.
02Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into an agreement to use the Service. Do not use it where doing so is prohibited by applicable law.
Basic editing is available without signing in. An account is required for features such as cloud project saving and AI generation. Provide accurate account information, keep your login secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account.
03Editing, saving and exporting
Standard tools let you edit images in your browser, including layers, masks, text, shapes and colour adjustments. Saving a project to your account uploads its document data and assets. AI operations send the relevant input for remote processing.
Export or save work you want to keep. An unsaved browser session is not a backup: closing a tab, clearing browser data or a device failure can cause you to lose it. Features, supported formats and storage availability may change as the Service develops.
04Your images, prompts and results
You retain the rights you hold in images, text and other material you provide. You give us a non-exclusive permission to receive, store, copy, process and deliver that material as needed to carry out your instructions, maintain your projects, provide support and protect the Service. This includes passing the necessary input to the providers used for an AI operation.
You must have the rights and permissions needed for your uploads and their intended use, including permission relating to identifiable people. Uploading content does not give us ownership of it or permission to use it in public advertising.
As between you and LucidFrame, we do not claim ownership of your generated results. Their legal protection and permitted use depend on applicable law, any third-party rights and the relevant model’s terms. Review those factors before publishing or using a result commercially.
05How AI features work
AI results are probabilistic. They may contain errors, unwanted changes, similarities to other images or content that is unsuitable for your purpose. Review results before using or sharing them. A result is not a guarantee of accuracy, originality, exclusivity or permission to use another person’s likeness or intellectual property.
Models and processing are supplied through external providers, including Kie.ai or fal depending on the configured operation. Their restrictions can affect whether a request is accepted, how long it takes and which results are available. Do not bypass safety controls or describe a generated image as an authentic record when doing so would mislead or harm others.
06AI credits and pricing
AI operations use credits. The editor shows the applicable cost before you submit a request. Cost can vary by model, operation, resolution and other settings. Prices, taxes, currency, included credits and any purchase-specific conditions are shown before checkout.
- One-time credit packs add purchased credits that do not expire.
- Subscription credits are an allowance for the paid period. Unused subscription credits do not roll over: the allowance is replaced on renewal and ends when the paid period expires.
- Promotional credits may have separate conditions stated with the offer.
Credits are service usage units, not money, a deposit or an investment. They cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash except where a refund is required by law or agreed by us. A generation recorded as failed restores its charged credits. Contact us if the balance does not reflect a failed job.
07Payments and subscriptions
Paid purchases are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. The applicable Paddle seller is identified at checkout and on your receipt. Paddle’s Buyer Terms apply to the purchase. Listed prices are in USD and exclude applicable VAT or sales tax, which is calculated and added at checkout. You authorise the displayed charge and, for an automatically renewing subscription, subsequent charges at the disclosed interval until cancellation.
You can cancel renewal through the editor’s billing controls. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period, so paid access remains available until then. Check that the cancellation is confirmed before the next renewal. Cancelling renewal does not by itself refund an earlier payment.
We will communicate material changes affecting a renewing plan before they apply, as required by law. You may stop renewal if you do not accept them.
08Refunds and billing problems
For an incorrect charge, duplicate payment, missing credits or a refund request, contact legal@lucidframe.cc with your account email and order reference. Do not send card numbers or security codes. Refund eligibility depends on the transaction, service already supplied, checkout terms and your statutory rights. A technically completed AI result is not guaranteed to satisfy every creative preference.
See our Refund Policy for the request process and applicable purchase terms. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer rights, including any applicable right to withdraw from a purchase or remedies for a service that was not supplied as agreed. Any legally required consent to start digital performance during a withdrawal period must be obtained at checkout; accepting these terms alone does not waive those rights.
09Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to:
- Create, upload or distribute illegal material, sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that violates someone’s privacy or other rights.
- Commit fraud, impersonate someone deceptively, harass people or facilitate violence.
- Infringe copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property.
- Upload malware, access another user’s account or data, disrupt infrastructure, or bypass access, billing or rate limits.
- Abuse promotions, payment disputes or credit allocation mechanisms.
We may reject requests or restrict content and access when necessary to address a violation, security risk or lawful order.
10The Service and feedback
The LucidFrame name, branding and service materials belong to their respective owners. These terms give you permission to use the Service, not ownership of its branding or a right to redistribute proprietary materials. Separately licensed and open-source components remain governed by their own licences.
If you voluntarily send product feedback, we may use it to improve the Service without an obligation to pay for the suggestion. This does not transfer ownership of your uploaded images.
11Suspension and ending your account
You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion at legal@lucidframe.cc. Cancel any active renewal before closing the account and export work you wish to keep.
We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, fraud, non-payment, a security threat or a legal requirement. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to resolve the issue; urgent safety or legal circumstances may require immediate action. Applicable refund and data-protection rights continue to apply.
12Availability and warranties
We work to keep the Service useful and available, but maintenance, outages and provider failures can interrupt it. We do not promise continuous availability, error-free operation or a particular AI result. To the extent permitted by law, the Service is supplied on an “as available” basis without additional implied warranties.
This section does not exclude guarantees, quality standards or remedies that the law does not allow us to exclude.
13Responsibility and liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost business opportunities or lost profits arising from use of the Service. You remain responsible for reviewing, backing up and lawfully using your content and outputs.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, intentional wrongdoing or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Mandatory consumer protections take precedence over inconsistent wording in these terms.
14Questions, disputes and changes
Please contact legal@lucidframe.cc first so we can try to resolve a concern. These terms do not require private arbitration or prevent you from contacting a regulator or bringing a claim before a court competent under applicable law. Any mandatory protections available in your country of residence remain unaffected.
We may update these terms as the Service or legal requirements change. The revision date appears on this page. Material changes will be communicated where required, and will not retroactively remove rights relating to purchases already made. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
